Golf Home 2004 Tournament Details

The 2004 Piedmont Pilots & Partners Golf Tournament will be held in Charleston, SC, Monday and Tuesday, October 18th and 19th. The Tournament is open to all P.S.E. members and their guests, any previous Piedmont employee, and all active or retired US Air personnel. Cost per person for the two rounds is $125.00 or $65.00 for golfers desiring to play only one day.
Monday will be a warm-up round played at Patriots Point Links Golf Club located on Charleston Harbor, an approximate 10 minute drive from the hotel. Tee time Monday is 12 PM. It’ll be a shotgun-start which should get us all back to the hospitality room by 5:30 that afternoon. Cash and prizes will be awarded for the longest drive and closest to the pin (4 holes). “Tournament Tuesday” will be played at Legend Oaks Plantation Golf Club approximately 35 miles from the hotel near Summerville, SC. Golfers may leave the car with the wives or at the hotel as first class transportation to and from the course via chartered bus is being provided at no additional charge. A shotgun-start tee time is set for 9:15 that morning. Prizes that day include gift certificates and trophies, four more closest to the pin awards, another long drive winner, and a $1000 Hole-in-One Challenge.
Award ceremonies will be held on the clubhouse veranda after the round. We’ll be departing the course around 3:15 PM with arrival back at the hotel by 4. (Click on www.legendoaksgolf.com for course info and details).
Tuesday’s golf is divided into 3 flights, Men’s Championship for golfers 63 and under, a Senior Legend’s flight for men over 63, and a Ladies’ Division. Trophies and gift certificates will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in each flight for both the low net and low gross.
