were approved at the Annual Board and Stock Holders Meeting. Therefore,
no action needed to be taken.

Buddy Bowen, that a slate of new Board Members be elected for the
next two years. The slate consists of Capt. Stephanie Hamilton/President

Capt. Stephanie Hamilton discussed that the fund raiser at the
Reunion, which consists of golf, t-shirts, towels, and caps was
selling very well. Mrs. Grace Kennedy provided all of the items
and both Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Stephanie McMillian were selling
the items very successfully.
Capt. Harvel Horrell brought forward a motion for a North Carolina
Speedbird License Tag at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Annual Board
Meeting. He stated he needed 300 signatures from North Carolina
residents. Capt. Horrell said that Capt. Don “Cochise”
Cheatham and Capt. Bo Davis would help get permission to use the
Speedbird from USAirways, and Capt. Cheatham would take everything
to the May 2006 General Assembly. A yellow signature pad was passed
around to all members at the Reunion; Mrs. Colleen Fields volunteered
to help get the rest of the signatures. Capt. Horrell requested
for Capt. Stephanie Hamilton to send him the PSECFI Articles of
Incorporation, NC Tax Exempt Status, and a copy of our 501 C 3.
She said she would send this to him.
Professor Richard Eller attended the Reunion and informed us that
the Piedmont Employee Book would be finished somewhere around the
first of the year. He indicated that the PSECFI could buy the book
at publisher’s rates, sell it to our members and the proceeds
go to buy more Piedmont Employee books for school libraries.
Mrs. Colleen Fields asked for more Piedmont lapel pins to sell.
She has had many requests for these pins. Capt. Stephanie Hamilton
indicated she would order some more for her when she got back to
Charlotte.
Capt. Stephanie Hamilton stated that we have been loaned and deeded
more Piedmont historical artifacts and these items are (along with
about 400 other PSECFI items) being stored at the North Carolina
Transportation Museum until the Back Shop opens in 2009. She also
stated the PSECFI display at the NCTM, “North Carolina Women
in Transportation” is the most popular display at the NCTM
for visitors and field trips.
Having no further business a motion was made by Capt. Darrell Gordon
and seconded by Capt. Paul Snell that the meeting be adjourned.
In the absence of Capt. David Hachen, the minutes were taken by
Capt. Stephanie Hamilton.
Respectfully Submitted,
Capt. Stephanie B. Hamilton
