PREAMBLE We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a wonderful extension of Piedmont Silver Eagles, Inc. As you may already know, the Piedmont Silver Eagles, Inc. was created over 25 years ago and now has more than 600 active members with a possible 2000 on the way. Throughout our history together we have been able to help many people who came to us in need. These experiences impelled us to form a charitable organization several years ago and this fund is the invention of that project. Our goal is to develop this charity into an enduring entity that will provide fulfillment through helping others, while giving tax exempt status to the donor. Today’s economy has put a strain on so many of us and at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charitable Funds, Inc. we feel that in order to truly make an impact on our community we must not only address the humanitarian needs of individuals but the educational needs as well. Our foundation is comprised of three different categories. 1. The Captain’s Fund is one dear to our hearts. It will promote Aviation Career Days for children. This fund is geared toward lower, middle and high school students. It will aid and financially promote Discovery (initial flights) for those over 15 at accredited and licensed flight schools. 2. The Humanitarian Fund will provide supplementary funds to any person in need. This may include but is not limited to medical equipment, medical bills, and home repairs. Our goal with this fund is provide relief to those less fortunate than we are. 3. The Scholarship Fund will provide matching funds to those who wish to further their education at higher learning institutions. We at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charity Fund know the value of education and want to do everything possible to help those who cannot get there on their own. Here at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charitable Funds Inc. we have lives that are rich with experience and we find ourselves in a position to give these experiences back to the community and to future generations. Internal support has been outstanding and now we are reaching out to over 20,000 past and present members of Piedmont, their family and friends and to the community as a whole. We feel that with your help we can help make a difference in the lives of these individuals, and the communities in which they live.
