Gandhi once said, "Each of us must be the change agent that we want to see in the world." Many of us often forget that helping even one person makes a difference. There is nothing more powerful than an individual acting out of his conscience to help make life better for someone else. Those of us at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charitable Funds, Inc. are individuals seeking to do just that. We recognize that we have been blessed and the Humanitarian Fund is our chance to give back to the community. As we look upon the ever-changing world in which we live it is easy to be bombarded with the global problems and needs we face. Yet, what is often ignored is the local problem of people in need. The Humanitarian Fund was created in order to improve the quality of life for those less fortunate.

The Humanitarian Fund is a grant program that is dedicated to the health and human welfare of our community. The fund is open to the public. We will provide assistance based on need and the availability of resources. Our main purpose is to provide supplemental funds for any person that is in need. Some examples would be a wheelchair, medical equipment, medical bills, repairs to air conditioning, roof or home. This fund will also consider requests for emergency assistance for individuals.

We at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charitable Funds, Inc. believe that making these changes in the lives of individuals will help change our community for the better. It is the quality of our life that helps define us and the Humanitarian Funds purpose is to enrich lives. Our hope for the future is a personal development and betterment of life for those in our region who are in need. There is no better feeling than to know that we at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charitable Funds, Inc. will be a part of that future.
