allowed to you to touch the boundary that is called “flight”
The Wright brothers had a vision that human beings would be able to fly. Though no one believed it could be done, that dream came true on December 17, 1903. It is the pursuit of our dreams that changes the world and this is our opportunity to introduce you to the world of aviation. As we evolve into grown men and women it is often easy to forget that we were once children whose eyes lit up at the sight of something wondrous. Those of us at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charitable Funds, Inc. can still remember the feeling of our hands and faces pressed against the windows as we watched an airplane leave for takeoff and the way it made our hearts pound with excitement. Now as adults we sit in our aircraft at the terminals watching children develop these same dreams. The Captain’s Fund is not only an extension of our aspirations for aviation, but also a realization of dreams for present and future generations who desire to be a part of it. We created the Captain’s Fund in order to give the youth of our region the chance to fulfill the dreams of flight that we once had. The fund is directed towards all children. The Captain’s Fund will financially support and aid in the education of Aviation to all children. We at the Piedmont Silver Eagles Charitable Fund wish all individuals pursuing an interest in Aviation, through the Captain’s Fund, the best of luck in their endeavors. This program will enrich the lives of the individuals by giving them the knowledge and appreciation for flight that we at the Charitable Fund have been so fortunate to enjoy.
